Must-have Christmas Photos

Christmas photos, Personal, Projects

My must-have Christmas photos every year consist of traditions, fun moments, and just memories that I want to hold on to forever. But there is something about being sure to capture the same types of moments year after year to compare just how fast my kids have grown! Some of my favorite Christmas photos are:

Must-have Christmas Photo #1 – Matching PJs

My sweet friend Brittany Nicole Photography captured this years PJ photo!

My favorite matching Christmas pajamas are Burt’s Bees Baby. I just love their classic style and patterns.

Must-have Christmas Photo #2 – Reading a Christmas story

Christmas story reading

Throughout the month of December most of our stories only consist of Christmas ones, learning about the true meaning of Christmas. Including a Christmas advent book where we read a short story every day and have fun doing a Christmas craft!

Must-have Christmas Photo #3 – Trimming the Tree

The first 5 Christmases with kids we decided an artificial tree was best but now that the kids are old enough to understand to stay away from the tree we now get a real one. I grew up with a real tree so I am happy to have them back! 🙂

It’s not the prettiest picture out of the bunch and usually I’m pretty OCD about mess but on Christmas morning I embrace the mess and chaos and enjoy watching the kids excitement!

Must-have Christmas Photo #8 – The day after Christmas

The day after Christmas is one of my favorite days since Christmas Day is pretty crazy with family visits and preparing foods. But the day after is a slow day where I get to relax and play with the kids and their new toys!

These are just a few of my must-have photos for the Christmas season year after year! What traditions/Christmas moments to you want to be sure to photograph every year?
