In my most recent Newborn Portrait Session in the studio I met sweet Riley, who was actually born in November at 31 weeks. Her adjusted age is 3 weeks and although she was starting to not be as comfortable all wrapped up, I made sure to wrap with arms up and feet out so she would be more comfortable and happy. When photographing newborns it is important to follow baby’s cues and pay attention to their needs. When baby’s needs are met they are content and comfortable to be photographed. A Newborn Portrait Session full of lifestyle poses showing the connection between Mom, Dad and baby (and sibling(s) if any) but also the beauty is what fuels my photography. Natural, beautiful, pure images.
