Marissa first reached out to me in search of a Newborn In-Home Lifestyle Session to welcome her new baby girl Avery! One of my favorite things about being a newborn photographer is being invited into the homes of my clients and capturing the love and excitement of their newest arrival! It is always such a joy to experience and share in the thrill of the birth of a baby! As a Mom of three, I can say that joy never changes with the addition of more babies, it’s just as amazing as that very first time!

Another fun aspect of a Newborn In-Home Lifestyle Session is I get to see all the beautiful nurseries! I just love seeing the design, effort and love that has gone into creating the most perfect spot for baby. And Marissa’s is no different! She chose the most beautiful floral wallpaper for the crib wall that is just so swoon worthy. It made for such a beautiful backdrop to all her photos of Avery in her nursery. I always make sure to capture the room’s details so that as the years go on and the room transforms as baby grows, you will always remember and reminisce these first sweet moments. All the time spent rocking away basking in the beauty around you and in your arms.
