I was invited to Nathan & Lauren’s family property to photograph their newest bundle of joy, sweet Samuel! Due to Covid, this session was one of my first Outdoor Newborn Lifestyle Sessions as most Newborn Lifestyle Sessions take place in the family’s home either in the baby’s nursery or in the master bedroom.

We spent the afternoon hiking along the trails of their generationally owned land as well as the little creek. We had so much fun with big brother Henry, capturing him and his new baby brother Samuel along the way! We even had Gus, their Golden Retriever join in for some photos! It was a beautiful evening and I had such a wonderful time! I just love these photos because they so perfectly depict the love between the family and the joy that is shared together. Here are a few of my favorites from their Outdoor Newborn Lifestyle Session.

To be sure to capture all of Samuel’s sweet little details, I purchased this beautiful handmade basket changing table. This was the perfect place to lay baby down and get photos of his teeny toes, curled up hands and adorable face. Outdoor Newborn Lifestyle sessions are all about the love and connection between the family but babies grow so fast that all their new wrinkly features need to be documented too!
